This fitting is completely black due to Ninja Paintball's new blacking process. (In the picture the outer ring shows as chrome, but it is now black). Also, there is no longer any thread sealant pre-applied, so you can use the sealant of your choice (blue Locktite 242 is excellent).

Ninja makes the best fittings that I have ever used. The threads are sealed so you won't have to mess with teflon tape. Great for a quick fix or for cosmetics.
